Weave Yard is a non-profit cultural platform weaving together stories, communities, and creativity.We connect people and cultures through exhibitions, workshops, and community-led projects — weaving diverse voices into a shared cultural fabric that reimagines heritage.As a member of the Museums Association (UK), Weave Yard supports inclusive museum practice and public engagement across the UK.

Our Projects
Weave Yard develops projects that place communities at the heart of cultural heritage. Our initiatives invite people to share their own stories, objects, and perspectives, and to shape how heritage is understood and experienced. From hands-on exhibitions to training new community curators, our projects create inclusive spaces where culture is lived, interpreted, and re-imagined together.
Living Stories
Living Stories is a community exhibition project where individuals and families bring objects from their own lives into conversation with museum collections. Participants take the lead in interpreting, curating, and presenting these connections, creating exhibitions that weave personal experiences into the wider cultural narrative. The project shows how heritage is not only about the past, but also about the living stories we continue to create today.

Community Curator Academy
The Community Curator Academy is a flagship programme of Weave Yard. It equips community members with curatorial and collaborative skills through training, mentoring, and practice, in partnership with museums and universities. The Academy supports new voices in shaping how cultural heritage is interpreted, displayed, and shared.
